The Central Bears (Brooksville, FL) football were winner over the visiting Anclote Sharks (Holiday, FL), 25-6 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Bears now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Weeki Wachee for a 3A District 7 outing on Friday, September 13. Central will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 22-12 non-league win over Tenoroc (Lakeland, FL). The Hornets record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Anclote drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Gulf (New Port Richey, FL) to clash with the Buccaneers in a non-league outing on Friday, September 13. The Buccaneers come into the outing with a record of 1-1. Gulf won 50-0 in their recent non-league outing against Hudson (Hudson, FL)
