The Flour Bluff Hornets walloped the visiting Harlingen South Hawks football team by a score of 56-19 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets face the Donna Redskins (Donna, TX) in a 5A-1 Region IV District 15 challenge, on Friday, September 20. Flour Bluff will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Redskins enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 26-0 league loss to Weslaco East (Weslaco, TX).

The Hawks (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Rivera (Brownsville, TX). The Raiders enter the 5A-1 Region IV District 15 challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Rivera was ripped by Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX), 37-0, in a league challenge.
