September 13, 2024: Batesburg, SC 29006 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Newberry Academy football squad scored a good 26-14 victory over the King Academy Knights.
The (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Oakbrook Prep (Spartanburg, SC). The Knights enter the non-league match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Oakbrook Prep was beaten by Wardlaw Academy (Johnston, SC), 58-34, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Knights confront the Laurens Academy Crusaders (Laurens, SC) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 20. King Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Crusaders enter the match with a 3-2 record after their 56-20 league loss to Richard Winn Academy (Winnsboro, SC).
