The Tulare Western Mustangs edged the visiting Redwood Rangers football team by a score of 34-33 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Wasco Tigers (Wasco, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 27. Tulare Western will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 36-8 non-league loss to Tehachapi (Tehachapi, CA).

The Rangers (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hanford (Hanford, CA). The Bullpups enter the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Hanford held off El Diamante (Visalia, CA), 62-17, in a non-league challenge.
