Oklahoma High School Softball - Shidler edges Caney Valley
September 13, 2024: Ramona, OK 74061 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Shidler Tigers (Shidler, OK) and the host Caney Valley Trojans (Ramona, OK), observed Shidler's softball team get by Caney Valley by a tally of 3-1.
The Tigers (16-3) will now prepare for their bout against Newkirk (Newkirk, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 10-9 record. In their last bout, Newkirk by Perry (Perry, OK), 12-1, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Woodland Cougars (Fairfax, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 13. Caney Valley will attempt to advance on its 11-8 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Oklahoma Union (South Coffeyville, OK).
