September 13, 2024: Danbury, TX 77534 In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Danbury Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Wharton Tigers.
The Panthers (11-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Brazos (Wallis, TX). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 8-20 record. In their last challenge, Brazos beat Ganado (Ganado, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Sweeny Bulldogs (Sweeny, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 26 challenge, on Tuesday, September 17. Wharton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 20-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Bay City (Bay City, TX).
