September 13, 2024: Lower Brule, SD 57548 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Lower Brule Sioux (Lower Brule, SD) and the visiting Tiospaye Topa Thunderhawks (Ridgeview, SD), observed Lower Brule's volleyball team top Tiospaye Topa by a count of 3-0.
The Sioux (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sunshine Bible Academy (Miller, SD). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Sunshine Bible Academy was knocked off by Crow Creek (Stephan, SD), 3-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Thunderhawks battle the Crazy Horse Chiefs (Wanblee, SD) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 14. Tiospaye Topa will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Chiefs enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Wakpala (Wakpala, SD).
