September 13, 2024: Flandreau, SD 57028 Flandreau Indian Indians (Flandreau, SD) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Tiospaye Topa Thunderhawks (Ridgeview, SD), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Flandreau Indian improves its record to 1-5 on the season. The Indians host St. Mary (Dell Rapids, SD) to face the Cardinals in a non-league test on Monday, September 16. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 4-0. St. Mary won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Canistota (Canistota, SD)
The Thunderhawks now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lower Brule for a non-league test on Friday, September 13. Tiospaye Topa will face a Sioux squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Crow Creek (Stephan, SD). The Sioux record now stands at 2-3.
