Vermont High School Football - Mill River can't hold off Windsor
September 13, 2025: Windsor, VT 05089 Windsor Yellowjackets (Windsor, VT) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Mill River Minutemen (North Clarendon, VT), 34-28 in a league battle.
With the win, Windsor improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Springfield (Springfield, VT) to play the Cosmos in a CVL battle on Saturday, September 20. The Cosmos come into the test with a record of 2-0. Springfield won 14-7 in their recent league test against Otter Valley (Brandon, VT)
With the defeat, Mill River drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Minutemen host Poultney (Poultney, VT) to meet the Blue Devils in a CVL test on Saturday, September 20. The Blue Devils go into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Poultney lost 35-0 in their recent league challenge against Woodstock (Woodstock, VT)
