Ohio High School Soccer - Waynedale toppled by Chippewa
September 13, 2025: Apple Creek, OH 44606 Chippewa Chipps (Doylestown, OH) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Waynedale Golden Bears (Apple Creek, OH), 8-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Chippewa moves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Chipps host Waterloo (Atwater, OH) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league outing on Monday, September 15. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 6-1. Waterloo won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Garfield (Garrettsville, OH)
Next up, the Golden Bears confront the Smithville Smithies (Smithville, OH) in a Wayne County outing, on Tuesday, September 16. Waynedale will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Smithies go into the test with a 2-5 record after their 0-0 league Northwestern (West Salem, OH).
