The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Boone Central Cardinals (Albion, NE) and the visiting Tekamah-Herman Tigers (Tekamah, NE), observed Boone Central's softball squad nip Tekamah-Herman by a score of 8-2.

With the triumph, Boone Central improves its record to 9-7 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Wayne (Wayne, NE) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 16. The Blue Devils enter the contest with a record of 10-7. Wayne won 15-0 in their recent non-league contest against North Bend Central (North Bend, NE)
