In Saturday's non-league match, the host Boone Central Cardinals softball team scored a nice 10-2 victory over the Pierce Bluejays.

The Cardinals (6-5) will now prepare for their game against Polk County (Stromsburg, NE). The Slammers enter the non-league game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Polk County was routed by St. Paul (St. Paul, NE), 8-7, in a non-league game.
