In Thursday's non-league test, the Pierce Bluejays (Pierce, NE) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Ponca Indians (Ponca, NE), by a count of 9-0.

Next, the Bluejays encounter the Twin River Titans (Genoa, NE) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 23. Pierce will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Titans go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 13-1 non-league win over Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE).

The Indians (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Wayne (Wayne, NE). The Blue Devils go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Wayne was routed by Blair (Blair, NE), 8-2, in a non-league test.
