September 13, 2025: Higginsville, MO 64037 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lafayette County Huskers (Higginsville, MO) and the visiting Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, MO), saw Lafayette County's softball squad topple Lexington by a score of 11-3.
With the triumph, Lafayette County improves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Huskers travel to Capital City (Jefferson City, MO) to battle the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 1-1.
In their next game, the Minutemen battle the Knob Noster Panthers (Knob Noster, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, September 16. Lexington will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 0-6 record after their 15-1 non-league loss to Sherwood (Creighton, MO).
