In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Andrews Osborne Academy Phoenix volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Laurel Gators .

The Phoenix (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Mogadore (Mogadore, OH). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Mogadore nudged Lake Center Christian (Hartville, OH), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Gators now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Reserve Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13.
