September 13, 2025: Owensboro, KY 42301 Henderson County Colonels (Henderson, KY) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Henderson County improves its record to 14-4 on the season. The Colonels host Muhlenberg County (Greenville, KY) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 13. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 11-5. Muhlenberg County won 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Trinity (Whitesville, KY)
Next, the Eagles meet the Ohio County Eagles (Hartford, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Apollo will attempt to advance on its 11-2 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 5-9 record after their 3-0 league win over McLean County (Calhoun, KY).
