Minnesota High School Volleyball - Delano tips Benilde-St. Margaret's

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Delano Tigers (Delano, MN) and the host Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights (St. Louis Park, MN), observed Delano's volleyball team hold off Benilde-St. Margaret's by a count of 2-1.

The Tigers (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against Jordan (Jordan, MN). The Hubmen / Jaguars go into the Wright County East battle with a 10-0 record. In their last battle, Jordan tipped St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Red Knights now own a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chanhassen for a Metro West battle on Wednesday, September 17. Benilde-St. Margaret's will encounter a Storm squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Orono (Long Lake, MN). The Storm record now stands at 10-1.
