Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the O'Neill Eagles (O'Neill, NE) and the visiting Central City Bison (Central City, NE), saw O'Neill's volleyball squad nudge Central City by a score of 2-1.

With the win, O'Neill improves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Doniphan-Trumbull (Doniphan, NE) to encounter the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. The Cardinals go into the battle with a record of 6-3. Doniphan-Trumbull won 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Sutton (Sutton, NE)

The Bison now own a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crofton for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. Central City will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to O'Neill (O'Neill, NE). The Warriors record now stands at 3-2.
