September 13, 2025: Chassell, MI 49916 Chassell Panthers (Chassell, MI) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting L'Anse Purple Hornets (L'Anse, MI), 1-0 in a league test.
With the win, Chassell advances its record to 6-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Baraga (Baraga, MI) to face the Vikings in a Copper Mountain test on Saturday, September 13. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 5-3. Baraga won 3-0 in their recent league test against Chassell (Chassell, MI)
The Purple Hornets now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Dickinson for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. L'Anse will face a Nordics team coming off a 3-0 league win over Carney-Nadeau (Carney, MI). The Nordics record now stands at 3-2.
