Indiana High School Volleyball - Illiana Christian can't hold off Chesterton

In Saturday's non-league match, the Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Illiana Christian Vikings (Dyer, IN), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Trojans confront the Merrillville Pirates (Merrillville, IN) in a Duneland bout, on Tuesday, September 16. Chesterton will attempt to better on its 15-3 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 8-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lake Central (St. John, IN).

With the loss, Illiana Christian drops to 16-4 on the campaign. The Vikings host Hammond Bishop Noll (Hammond, IN) to clash with the Warriors in a Greater South Shore bout on Tuesday, September 16. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 12-7. Hammond Bishop Noll lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN)
