The Sweetwater Mustangs (Sweetwater, TX) volleyball knocked off the visiting Grape Creek Eagles (San Angelo, TX), 3-0 in Saturday's league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 15-13 record. They play next when they host San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy for a 3A Region I District 6 bout on Tuesday, September 16. Sweetwater will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Merkel (Merkel, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 17-6.

With the loss, Grape Creek drops to 1-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Jim Ned (Tuscola, TX) to clash with the Indians in a 3A Region I District 6 bout on Tuesday, September 16. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 18-8. Jim Ned lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Wall (Wall, TX)
