The Hematites (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Gladstone (Gladstone, MI). The Braves enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Gladstone was knocked off by Hancock (Hancock, MI), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Indians battle the Brimley Bays (Brimley, MI) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 18. Newberry will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Bays go into the battle with a 6-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Cedarville (Cedarville, MI).
