September 13, 2025: Cedar Rapids, IA 52402 Solon Spartans (Solon, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Kennedy Cougars (Cedar Rapids, IA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Spartans (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Pleasant Valley lost by North Scott (Eldridge, IA), 3-2, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. Kennedy will attempt to advance on its 7-8 season record. The Spartans go into the test with a 7-3 record after their 3-2 league loss to North Scott (Eldridge, IA).
