Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Mendon Hornets (Mendon, MI) and the host Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Lakers (St. Joseph, MI), observed Mendon's volleyball team top Our Lady of the Lake Catholic by a count of 2-0.

The Hornets (13-1) will now prepare for their test against Bellevue (Bellevue, MI). The Broncos go into the Southern Central test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Bellevue was defeated by Calhoun Christian (Battle Creek, MI), 3-0, in a non-league test.
