The Dowagiac Chieftains topped the host Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Lakers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Chieftains face the Paw Paw Red Wolves (Paw Paw, MI) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 16. Dowagiac will attempt to advance on its 7-12 season record. The Red Wolves go into the game with a 3-4 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Niles (Niles, MI).

The Lakers (6-9) will now prepare for their outing against Mendon (Mendon, MI). The Hornets come into the non-league outing with a 12-1 record. In their last outing, Mendon beat Colon (Colon, MI), 3-0, in a league outing.
