North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, North Stanly upgrades its record to 7-8 on the year. The Comets host McMichael (Mayodan, NC) to meet the Phoenix in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 13. The Phoenix enter the challenge with a record of 8-6. McMichael lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Western Alamance (Elon, NC)

Next, the Cougars meet the McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. Southwestern Randolph will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Phoenix go into the test with a 8-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Western Alamance (Elon, NC).
