Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the StoneBridge Cavaliers (Chesapeake, VA) and the host Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC), saw StoneBridge's volleyball squad nudge Perquimans by a score of 2-1.

With the win, StoneBridge improves its record to 21-0 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to encounter the Patriots in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. The Patriots go into the battle with a record of 4-4. Albemarle won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Louisa County (Mineral, VA)

Next, the Pirates meet the George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Perquimans will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Statesmen enter the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Yorktown (Arlington, VA).
