September 14, 2022: Carrollton, GA 30116 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Heard County Braves (Franklin, GA) and the host Central Lions (Carrollton, GA), saw Heard County's softball squad nip Central by a count of 3-0.
The Braves now sport a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they host Carrollton for a non-league match on Thursday, September 15. Heard County will face a Trojans squad coming off a 6-1 league loss to East Coweta (Sharpsburg, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 10-5.
With the loss, Central falls to 12-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA) to face the Raiders in a 4A Region 7 match on Thursday, September 15. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 2-10.
