The Taylor County Vikings softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Manchester Blue Devils to 3 in the Vikings league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Taylor County improves its record to 11-4 on the year. The Vikings travel to Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Monday, September 19. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 5-10. Mary Persons lost 11-3 in their recent league game against Pike County (Zebulon, GA)

In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the Furlow Charter School Falcons (Americus, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 6 game, on Tuesday, September 20. Manchester will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record.
