Nebraska High School Softball - Mercy bounces Ralston

Mercy Monarchs (Omaha, NE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Ralston Rams (Ralston, NE), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Monarchs now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Polk County for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 17. Mercy will battle a Slammers squad coming off a 7-4 league win over Fillmore Central/Exeter-Milligan (Geneva, NE). The Slammers record now stands at 14-6.

With the loss, Ralston falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Wahoo (Wahoo, NE) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 15. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 18-0. Wahoo won 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Douglas County West (Valley, NE)
