September 14, 2023: Rocky Mount, NC 27803 The Rocky Mount Gryphons volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Franklinton Rams to 0 in the Gryphons non-league victory on Thursday.
The Gryphons now have a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northern Nash for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 19. Rocky Mount will meet a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC). The Knights record now stands at 4-3.
The Rams (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Wakefield (Raleigh, NC). The Wolverines enter the non-league game with a 8-4 record. In their last game, Wakefield gained a win over Knightdale (Knightdale, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
