September 14, 2023: Myrtle Creek, OR 97457 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the South Umpqua Lancers (Myrtle Creek, OR) and the visiting Cascade Christian Challengers (Medford, OR), saw South Umpqua's soccer squad triumph over Cascade Christian by a margin of 8-2.
The Lancers now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sutherlin for a 3A/2A/1A-SD4 Special District 4 test on Tuesday, September 19.
With the loss, Cascade Christian drops to 0-2 on the season. The Challengers travel to Marshfield (Coos Bay, OR) to meet the Pirates in a non-league test on Thursday, September 14. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 0-3. Marshfield lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Newport (Newport, OR)
