Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC), 10-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs face the East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC) in a Central Piedmont 4A challenge, on Monday, September 18. Parkland will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 2-0 league win over Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC).

The Spartans now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Providence Grove for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 18. Central Davidson will face a Patriots team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 0-7.
