Calera Bulldogs (Calera, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Wynnewood Savages (Wynnewood, OK), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 5-16 record.

With the loss, Wynnewood falls to 12-11 on the campaign. The Savages travel to Velma-Alma (Velma, OK) to battle the Comets in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 18. The Comets enter the challenge with a record of 3-20. Velma-Alma lost 16-0 in their recent league challenge against Elmore City-Pernell (Elmore City, OK)
