September 14, 2023: Homerville, GA 31634 The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Clinch County Panthers (Homerville, GA) and the visiting Echols County Wildcats (Statenville, GA), saw Clinch County's softball squad achieve victory over Echols County by a count of 12-0.
The Panthers now sport a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lanier County for a 1A D-II Region 2 match on Tuesday, September 19. Clinch County will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-3.
With the loss, Echols County falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Turner County (Ashburn, GA) to face the Titans in a 1A D-II Region 2 match on Tuesday, September 19.
