Missouri High School Softball - Knob Noster gets by Lafayette County
September 14, 2023: Knob Noster, MO 65336 The Knob Noster Panthers nipped the visiting Lafayette County Huskers softball squad by a final score of 8-7 in Thursday's league battle.
The Panthers (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Summit Christian Academy (Lee's Summit, MO). The Eagles go into the Class 2 District 13 battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Summit Christian Academy held off St. Michael the Archangel (Lee's Summit, MO), 5-3, in a non-league battle.
The Huskers now possess a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Lexington for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 19. Lafayette County will meet a Minutemen squad coming off a 13-1 non-league loss to Chillicothe (Chillicothe, MO). The Minutemen record now stands at 1-13.
