September 14, 2023: Trion, GA 30753 The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA) and the visiting Rome Wolves (Rome, GA), saw Trion's softball squad achieve victory over Rome by a count of 12-0.
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to LaFayette for a non-league match on Saturday, September 16. Trion will face a Ramblers squad coming off a 6-0 league win over Ringgold (Ringgold, GA). The Ramblers record now stands at 9-4.
With the loss, Rome falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Wolves host Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Monday, September 18. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 0-9. Gordon Central lost 25-0 in their recent league match against Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA)
