September 14, 2023: Eugene, OR 97404 The Crater Comets volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host North Eugene Highlanders to 0 in the Comets league victory on Thursday.
The Comets now have a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thurston for a 5A Midwestern game on Saturday, September 16. Crater will meet a Colts team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Ridgeview (Redmond, OR). The Colts record now stands at 7-2.
The Highlanders (3-9) will now prepare for their game against Thurston (Springfield, OR). The Colts enter the 5A Midwestern game with a 9-2 record. In their last game, Thurston gained a win over Eagle Point (Eagle Point, OR), 3-1, in a league game.
