September 14, 2023: Glade Spring, VA 24340 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Marion Scarlet Hurricanes (Marion, VA) and the host Patrick Henry Rebels (Glade Spring, VA), saw Marion's volleyball squad beat Patrick Henry by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Marion upgrades its record to 8-2 on the year. The Scarlet Hurricanes host Richlands (Richlands, VA) to play the Blue Tornado in a Southwest bout on Monday, September 18. The Blue Tornado go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Richlands lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Grundy (Grundy, VA)
The Rebels now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Holston for a Hogoheegee bout on Tuesday, September 19.
