September 14, 2023: Liberty Center, IA 50145 In Thursday's non-league contest, the Newton Cardinals (Newton, IA) volleyball squad were winner over the host Southeast Warren Warhawks (Liberty Center, IA), by a margin of 2-0.
Next up, the Cardinals face the Grinnell Tigers (Grinnell, IA) in a Little Hawkeye contest, on Thursday, September 21. Newton will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record.
With the loss, Southeast Warren drops to 3-16 on the campaign. The Warhawks travel to Lamoni (Lamoni, IA) to encounter the Demons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 16. The Demons come into the challenge with a record of 2-5.
