August 26, 2023: Liberty Center, IA 50145 The Albia Blue Demons volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Southeast Warren Warhawks to 0 in the Blue Demons non-league victory on Saturday.
The Blue Demons now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Knoxville for a South Central game on Tuesday, August 29. Albia will meet a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-1.
The Warhawks (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA). The enter the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Ankeny Christian Academy gained a win over Meskwaki Settlement (Tama, IA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
