Illinois High School Flag Football - Lyons tops Oak Park-River Forest
September 14, 2024: LaGrange, IL 60525 The Lyons Lions flag football squad scored 21 points and limited the visiting Oak Park-River Forest Huskies to 12 in the Lions league triumph on Saturday.
The Lions now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Sandburg for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. Lyons will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 34-7 non-league win over Bremen (Midlothian, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Oak Park-River Forest drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Lane Tech (Chicago, IL) to meet the Champions in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 18. The Champions come into the test with a record of 9-3. Lane Tech won 22-8 in their recent league test against Amundsen (Chicago, IL)
