Indiana High School Soccer - Castle nudges Center Grove

September 14, 2024: Greenwood, IN 46143

Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Castle Knights (Newburgh, IN) and the host Center Grove Trojans (Greenwood, IN), saw Castle's soccer squad hold off Center Grove by a count of 1-0.

The Knights (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Evansville Memorial (Evansville, IN). The Tigers enter the Southern Indiana battle with a 10-0 record. In their last battle, Evansville Memorial tipped Evansville North (Evansville, IN), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Trojans battle the New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 16. Center Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Dragons enter the battle with a 7-2 record after their 6-0 league loss to Mt. Vernon (Fortville, IN).
