September 14, 2024: East Machias, ME 04630 In Saturday's league outing, the visiting Orono Riots soccer squad scored a tight 5-3 victory over the Washington Academy Raiders.
The Riots (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Old Town (Old Town, ME). The Coyotes go into the non-league outing with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, Old Town by Hermon (Hermon, ME), 9-2, in a league outing.
Next up, the Raiders play the Sumner Tigers (East Sullivan, ME) in a Class C - North outing, on Tuesday, September 17. Washington Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 1-3 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Woodland (Baileyville, ME).
