Columbus Discoverers (Columbus, NE) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Omaha Central Eagles (Omaha, NE), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Columbus improves its record to 10-4 on the season. The Discoverers travel to Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE) to face the Chieftains in a A District test on Saturday, September 14. The Chieftains go into the test with a record of 1-8. Bellevue East lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Omaha Northwest (Omaha, NE)

The Eagles now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westview for a A District test on Thursday, September 19.
