California High School Volleyball - Saint Joseph can't hold off Taft
September 14, 2024: Lakewood, CA 90713 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Taft Toreadors volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Saint Joseph Jesters.
The Toreadors (18-4) will now prepare for their challenge against El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA). The Royals come into the West Valley challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, El Camino Real was nudged by La Salle (Pasadena, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Jesters play the Bishop Amat Lancers (La Puente, CA) in a Del Rey challenge, on Tuesday, September 17. Saint Joseph will attempt to upgrade on its 16-10 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 19-10 record after their 3-1 league loss to Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA).
