The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) and the visiting Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC), saw Starmount's volleyball squad beat Alleghany by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Starmount upgrades its record to 6-3 on the year. The Rams host North Wilkes (Hays, NC) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Monday, September 19. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 5-7. North Wilkes lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Forbush (East Bend, NC)
