Georgia High School Softball - Glascock County nudges Johnson County
September 15, 2022: Gibson, GA 30810 Glascock County Panthers (Gibson, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Johnson County Trojans (Wrightsville, GA), 1-0 in a league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greenbrier for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 19.
With the loss, Johnson County falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Twiggs County (Jeffersonville, GA) to face the Cobras in a 1A D-II Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, September 20. The Cobras enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. Twiggs County lost 17-0 in their recent league challenge against Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, GA)
