California High School Football - Liberty topples Central

September 15, 2023: Bakersfield, CA 93312

The Liberty Patriots (Bakersfield, CA) football defeated the visiting Central Grizzlies (Fresno, CA), 35-14 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Garces Memorial Rams (Bakersfield, CA) in a Southwest Yosemite - River bout, on Thursday, September 28. Liberty will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Rams enter the bout with a 2-3 record after their 47-13 non-league win over Monache (Porterville, CA).

The Grizzlies (4-1) will now prepare for their bout against Clovis (Clovis, CA). The Cougars enter the Tri-River bout with a 4-1 record. In their last bout, Clovis defeated Bullard (Fresno, CA), 35-28, in a non-league bout.
