Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA), 35-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Western Branch improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA) to battle the Warriors in a Southeastern test on Friday, September 29. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 3-0.

With the loss, Hickory drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA) to battle the Wildcats in a Southeastern test on Friday, September 22. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 0-3. Great Bridge lost 48-7 in their recent league test against King's Fork (Suffolk, VA)
